Make a Splash (darkness)
Make a splash (darkness) is one of an ongoing series of original screenprints. Each print is unique inspired by the evolving relationship between gestural mark making and complex colour relationships.
Prints are created by over screenprinting layers of transparent and opaque acrylic paint through stencils created from hand drawn marks on drafting film.
It is currently on display at CourtX in Southsea Hampshire as part of a solo show until 20th May
The circular print is 24cm in diameter printed on 285gsm soft white fabriano rosaspina fine art paper which is approximately 35 x 35cm. Please see photographs for close up detail.

Currently framed in a 35 x 35cm white painted wooden frame with a white spacer for a contemporary look. Glazed with ultra clear acrylic so it can be shipped or collected.
The print is initialled and titled on the front and signed in full on the reverse.
